My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hold on! Keep your eyes peeled before you miss the most spudtastic dog of all! Spud is a sweetheart from San Marcos, Texas who has never met a stranger. She is quick to greet every new person she meets with tons of tail wags and lots of kisses. Additionally, she is great with kids and other dogs! Spud is a good girl who hasn’t had a single accident in her new foster home. She learns simple commands with ease because she is so eager to please. She can play hard with her foster dog brother, but she also knows how to sleep calmly while her foster mom works on the computer. Spud’s favorite part of the day is when she gets to go on a walk, and she shows her thanks by walking beautifully on the leash. At night, she goes to sleep as quiet as a mouse in her crate. She is truly the perfect companion for any home. Apply to meet this hot (potato) mama!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
