Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m Everest. I’m a shy 2.5 year old male. I’m climbing my own mountain to learn to live inside and trust humans after spending so much time on the streets. I’m quiet and mellow and love laying on beds or couches near you. I'm still too shy to be pet but my foster family has had a lot of big breakthroughs with me and is confident that I'll come out of my shell one day! I like to play and am starting to like playing with the fishing pole toys with my foster mom. I am fascinated by my foster mom’s friendly kitty, but don’t appreciate when the other one hisses at me. It makes me sad. I’d probably do best in a home with another very friendly and mellow kitty friend as their presence makes me feel like things are going to be ok. I do get a little worried when they’re around when I’ve been given food, but I’m not aggressive. I’m just not used to having food available every day and I worry they might get it first so I’ll eat it really fast. I love to look outside from a comfy chair, but I’m pretty happy anywhere quiet. I’m looking for a home that will be very patient and mellow with an adopter who knows I may never enjoy being pet or snuggled. Do you have room in your life for a shy guy?
