Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When you are named after racehorses … you know there is a lot riding on the name :) Derby does not disappoint! She is fast in everything she does! She loves you fast, it doesn't matter if she just met you. She will walk right into your space and greet you with kisses. She becomes fast friends with any pups she meets, she learns fast and she runs fast. Oh yes, does she run fast! Derby is a naturally bouncy, happy puppy <3 She does not bark while other pups make a fool of themselves with silly shenanigans. She does not chime in. Derby is good in her kennel. She does not throw hissy fits when it is time for nap time. She lays quietly down and knows she is expected to rest to rejuvenate. Sometimes she enjoys a bully stick while she chills in her kennel. She keeps a clean kennel :) Derby is wonderful with all dogs. She likes to run with them, chase and be chased, maybe a little bit of wrestling here and there :) Derby is still learning how to walk nicely on a leash. She currently zigzags because there is just so much to sniff and check out along the way! Derby loves toys, especially tennis balls. She will play fetch games until her legs fall off :)

Derby is 5.5 months old, 35lb Shepherd/Lab mix. She is looking for a home with either human or furry siblings (or both) to hang out and play with. A fenced yard would be great so she can pretend to practice for races! Derby is just a sweet, happy, fun, playful girl :)
