My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fiona Princess, the all-black cat with a heart of gold. This friendly feline is not only great with kids but also loves to socialize with humans. She is still young and learning to be a kitty in her foster home as she was born and raised outdoors fending for herself with her siblings.
When it comes to dogs, Fiona Princess is a bit cautious with big dogs but is unbothered with small dogs.
She will thrive as the only cat in the home as she is on high alert and anxious with other cats in her current foster home.

She is a laid back couch potato that prefers to lounge around. With her sleek black fur and charming personality, Fiona Princess is sure to capture your heart with her affectionate and chill demeanor.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
