My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roadie is an adorable, slightly scruffy guy that was found as a stray. He very much enjoys snacks and has discovered the joy of bacon flavored goodies and cheese. He seems very interested in meeting dogs and will be introduced to our playgroups soon. While he is very sweet and seems to want to connect with people as well, he is very scared when he sees strangers and tries to escape the yard in his fear. We are still getting to know Roadie and brainstorming new ways to introduce him to adopters that cause him less stress, but he is likely the type of dog that will need some time to truly connect. Based on his gentle nature, we think he is worth taking the chance on!

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
