Cat’s Name: Bagel, Bean, Finn and Tank
Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): all 4 are spayed/neutered, None are mircrochiped, in 2022 they both recieved a rabies 1yr shot and a FVRCP 1yr shot. The only one up to date on their annual shots is Tank who got both of the previously mentioned shots on June 2nd 2023.
Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): 4 years ago we brought in a stray mom cat (Bean) and her litter of kittens (the other 3 cats). We were in a hard spot but tried to take care of them and find the kittens homes but thanks to financial problems, living situation problems and plenty of other complicated issues finding them homes at the time was not possible at that time. All those problems persisted and have been exasperated by having so many cats. In our current situation we are living paycheck to pay check on disability alone and have an elderly dog with health problems that need adressing. And due to our living situation we have to be strict on where the cats are and what they do which is straining for them. In short they need stable homes and we need to recover in order to get our lives back on track.
Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes):
Bagel: (black and white male with pink nose- 4 years old )
very loving and sweet boy. He can be a bit skittish about being held since he doesn't like that most of the time but so long as he's used to someone he's by no means shy. He isn't a lap cat but loves laying near you. Likes playing with things like string and small toys. Is very affectionate and will come to you for pets and love up on you alot. Works well with other cats but is not a fan of dogs. Doesn't enjoy being in small closed off rooms separating them from you
Finn:(black and white male with black nose -4 years old )
His nickname is Dough boy and he is a big sweetheart. Very lovey dovey when it comes to pets and is a lap cat. He's very playful, loves toys like strings or laser pointers. He likes to be held and loves to be all over you with affection when he's being pet. He can get along with other cats given the right time and care and the same goes for dogs. Doesn't enjoy being in small closed off rooms separating them from you
Bean: (female with more black & black face -cute white feet!) 6 years old
She is very shy but also incredibly sweet and loving to anyone she is used to. Likes playing with string and being playful in general. She likes finding a nice little spot like in a cat tree our under a table to sleep and relax at. She doesn't mind being left alone but still loves company any chance she gets. She is sometimes a lap cat. She can be very skittish when surpised by new and sudden changes but is a sweatheart.

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): providing cat food, litter and a cat depends if we can afford to at the time. We can provide the toys we have for them already.
What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): dry only but with wet food time to time- I just learned why cats need wet food to avoid costly vet bills and health issues . Please read below to learn more. Limit the crappy dry and give more wet daily!
:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

Furry Nation Salvation, Inc. is a foster based all-volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization located in Florida. We commit our resources throughout Volusia County and surrounding areas in finding permanent homes for abandoned, unwanted, and neglected animals. Run by dedicated volunteers, our work is a heartfelt collaboration in making a difference for the innocent animals without a voice. Our foster volunteers “one on one” care help us to determine the animals true personality to best fit them into their forever home. We also promote, practice, and work, in the area of TNR (trap, neuter, return). This method of population reduction and control for feral cats has proven to be successful and we are committed to this method. FNS strives to educate the public on the importance of spay and neutering their pets and provide locations where they are able to do so at a discounted price. We assist in transporting animals to and from veterinary clinics, and help individuals place their unwanted pet who would otherwise be dumped at an animal shelter with an uncertain future. We do so by utilizing social media and animal adoption sites and always making ourselves available with support and advice. We love what we do and together we make a difference for so many. Furry Nation Salvation does not have a facility and rely on foster homes for our rescued animals. Our current goal is to establish a dedicated rescue facility to be able to help even more animals in need.
