My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Winky. I am a beautiful black female. I have been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. I am a year and ten months old. I came to the rescue when I was just about five to six weeks old. My foster mommy bottle fed me and my brother. When it came time to find my forever home, my foster mom and dad couldn’t part with me, so they adopted me. My kitty siblings and I had a very sad thing just happen to us. Our human mom unexpectedly passed away, and our dad can’t care for us on his own now. I am now looking for my new forever home. As you can see from the pictures, I only have one eye. When I was little, I got a bad infection in my eye and had to have surgery to remove it. I am told that my imperfection makes me perfectly beautiful. I have a luxurious shiny black coat. I am a wonderful cat and would really love a low-key home. My current foster mom tells me how lovable I am. I like nothing better than curling up on a lap and sleeping on the bed with my humans. I love to play with reflections of light on the wall and love chasing a spring toy around the floor. LOL! I should do well in a home with other kitties and older children. I haven’t been around a dog, so I am not sure what I might think. I would probably do okay with a low-energy or older dog. If you would like to meet me please contact the rescue
