Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. So sorry we do not adopt out of the Tampa Bay area. Please don't be upset at us if you're not able to adopt. We do our best.





Hi I'm Archie! I know I am a mix of Havanese and shih tzu. I have nice soft hair. I'm a small 3 year old boy at just 9 lbs. My previous family did not take care of me and I ended up at a scary shelter. I will be very very scared of you until I trust you! But once I trust you I will love you forever! I normally have beautiful hair but all had to be shaved due to bad mattes. Boy did those hurt. But I feel really good now and my new hair is growing in fast. My new family must know I need grooming every 6 weeks or sooner. I'm neutered now and all up to date on all my shots thanks to the nice rescue that saved my life. Boy that was scary and I never want to go back to that shelter. The rescue even put a microchip in me so I never will be homeless again! Are you the one for me? If so please fill out an adoption application and I will be waiting! My adoption donation is only 400.00.

Please only apply for Archie if you are willing to give him several weeks to decompress. Archie will be scared at first. Our foster said it took weeks before Archie decompressed.

From Archie's foster dad. Archie was a stray at a county shelter. He was very scared there and was timid when we first rescued him. He is really thriving in his foster home that consists of a large fenced in yard and other small dogs and cats. Archie is young and very sweet once he trusts you. We do not recommend young children. Expect housetraining accidents at first. Sorry we only adopt in the Tampa Bay area as we do home visits on every dog to limit the stress of a new home.
