My name is Oakley!

Hi! I'm Oakley. I'm a male Shepherd/Pit mix that is approximately 5 months old (as of 04/25/24) and weighs 28 lbs. Unfortunately, my owners were unable to continue to care for me and felt it was best that I be surrendered to the shelter. I was surrendered 12/19/2023 and am looking forward to finally finding my furever home! I am a typical 3-month-old puppy who will need love and patience to help me grow into the best family companion I can be. I'm excited to learn how a leash works so that I can start going on walks and explore new things! I absolutely love toys! Especially the squeaky ones! I am good with other dogs but a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along! My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccinated, and have received my puppy boosters to date. Due to my age, meet and greets will be scheduled by approved application only. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
