My name is Almanzo!

I adpoted this dog as an 8 week old puppy in 2018. He is a great dog and I am sad to let him go, but he spends a lot of time alone because I work, attend classes, and most recently drive to northern Indiana every weekend to take care of my sick father. It just isn't fair for him to be alone so much.

My children are older and no longer live with me, but he loves to be around people. He is shy at first, but warms up quickly. He hasn't been around other dogs much, so I can't really say how he would behave.

He loves to sit with you on the couch. He falls asleep next to me there often. He also loves to run outside, so a fenced in back yard it best because once he starts running, he doesn't stop for awhile. He is definitely leash trained, too.

He really is the BEST dog. I want him to be happy and have fun.
