Please Share! Meet Magnificent Mr Mannie! In true ginger form, he loves to be near his human, is a bit sassy, a touch opinionated, has freckles on his nose, a snaggle tooth and will do his best to steal your pillow at night. He’ll win you over with his polite requests for pets and love of snuggling. His favorite thing to do is go for a walk outside in his harness and enjoy a screened-in patio.

We are looking for a permanent foster for Mannie due to his special needs. What that means is A4C provides all supplies and medical expenses. You provide the home, care, and love! If interested, please continue to read below.

Mannie is a 10 year old gentleman with chronic pain from arthritis. He also has fatty liver and FIV, which means he’s a little more prone infections. He can get cranky when he’s in pain or when he’s moved from your lap. His reaction typically involves grumbling and hissing, but may also involve swiping. He would be best in a home without toddlers or other animals. .

The poor reactions are primarily due to his pain, which is managed with gabapentin, he also requires special food to prevent urinary crystals. What you get in return for accepting Mannie is endless love and cuddles. He will basically live on your lap. We are looking for someone compassionate with a lot of cat experience. His current foster is leaving the country mid-March and we need a permanent spot by then. Please reach out to us for more info if you have a place in your heart for him.

We try to keep the adoption process as simple as possible while ensuring our cats are matched to the appropriate home based on their personality and the environment they will be living in. We want our kitties and our adopters to be equally happy! That being said you will be asked to:

Pay an Adoption Fee of $120 for kittens under 7 months of age and $100 for cats and kittens 7 months of age and older.

Provide proof that you are 21 years of age or older.

Fill out an adoption application and participate in an interview.

Sign an adoption agreement.

You can take your new BFF (best furry friend) home that day. Please bring a carrier!
