Scottie is arriving in Maryland this weekend (about March 2) and is desperately searching for a foster home (or a foster to adopt-that's a win-win, you get to really know the dog while giving him a temporary short term foster home). Good with dogs-have not seen him with kids or cats. He is 8-9 months old, 13 pounds and will need to get neutered this Friday at Spay Now (in Laurel, Md) at the rescue's cost of course. Can you help? We provide everything you need for his short term stay. Please send us a foster form at almosthomedogs.org

The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.
