My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie was discovered chained to a fence in Tijuana. As result of this neglect, she suffered from injuries and pressure sores. Her mouth was severely infected, and she was shamefully undernourished. We had her evaluated by one of our veterinarian partners who provided the initial care required to improve her health and wellbeing. She was fostered in Tijuana by the same veterinarian, under close supervision, until she was well enough to come to her foster in the San Diego. She is excellent with other dogs, cats, and people. She is beyond sweet despite her start in life. She is looking for a furever home who will shower her with kindness and love!

Additional adoption info

We are an all-volunteer rescue and do our best to respond to emails, phone calls, applications and other requests in a timely fashion. As stated in our application confirmation email, expect a 5 day response time on applications. However, due to an overwhelming demand for adoptions of puppies and dogs, you may have to wait longer for a response and we apologize.
