My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winnie. This precious pup is about 6 months old. We think she is a Lab/Terrier/Border Collie mix. She loves everyone she meets and plays well with other dogs. Winnie is an active and vocal puppy so she would do best in a home with a big secure yard and a family has time to train her good manners and basic obedience. She is working on her leash manners. Winnie is spayed, microchipped and has started her puppy vaccines and heartworm prevention. She currently weighs 30 pounds and is $85 to adopt.

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Stillwater operates an adoption guaranteed, nonprofit shelter that exists on donations from the public. We house dogs and cats here until they are adopted permanently into good homes. The Humane Society shares a building with the City Animal Welfare shelter, and aids in the adoption of animals there. Stillwater's Animal Welfare division can only hold animals for a limited time period; at the end of that period, they are euthanized. Whenever space is available, the Humane Society takes in those animals that are at risk of being euthanized.
