My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Gunner, and he's quickly become a staff favorite . He may look like a big boy, but he's just a baby in our eyes - at just under 8 months old he's got his whole life ahead of him!

Gunner has a story we've heard time and time again. He was adopted as a puppy, not socialized around new people, and came back to us older and weary of strangers. He is likely to bark at new people, including potential adopters, which is making it really hard for him to find a home. However, he just needs a little bit of time, some treats, and a nice introduction by a staff member he trusts, and you'll become fast friends. He's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal to his people and we know he'll make an amazing companion, he just needs someone who is willing to put in the extra time to get to know him and to learn how to introduce him to new people moving forward, and we will be happy to help with that!

Gunner loves other dogs and would do great with a furry sibling who matches his play style as he's a rough and tumble kind of boy!

We have been working with Gunner and he's learned tons of commands as he's very eager to please his people friends, and he'll be more than happy to demonstrate what a smarty pants he is when you meet!

If you are interested in meeting Gunner please come in to our Westhampton location no appointment needed.
