Hello there, I’m Chewie, PawsCo’s very first adoptable Wookiee! Just kidding, I’m a cute, lively pup who is looking for a forever home where I will feel comfortable, safe and loved!
Looking for a sidekick to help you explore the galaxy? I’m ready! I love to run around, explore, and sniff! I’m always super excited to go on walks to the park, and am well trained on a leash. I have a medium to high energy level, which means I currently enjoy three walks a day, and might really love longer hikes to let all the energy I have out. I’m also just learning how to play! I’ve discovered that bouncy balls are super fun, but I’d prefer to just trot around with my toy ball in my mouth instead of playing fetch.
I’ll snooze while you are working or busy and I don’t need constant attention, but I will let you know when I’m ready for petting and snuggling! I will roll around on my back looking for belly rubs. I get startled if I am petted when I’m sleeping so just please love on my fuzzy cuteness when I am awake! I’m currently much more comfortable with women than men and am building my sense of trust with new people in general. I will need a home without little kids. If you follow my cues, listen to my doggy noises and learn my body language, I’ll be so appreciative as I relax and find comfort in your companionship.
When I am happily playing with my ball or eating treats and food, I’d appreciate it if you don’t take them away until I’m finished. I guard my resources and am afraid of being without what I need. I have good manners and I don’t steal food or items from my humans; I’m just scared of having things taken from me. I’m super happy, friendly and excited when I meet new dogs of all sizes and would love to find a home with a doggie/Wookiee sibling who understands that human Jedi masters are kind and good and who wants a forever playmate.
I have learned some basic training and know how to sit, walk on a leash, and am potty trained! I prefer not to be confined in a crate and would love to be able to sleep in bed with my humans or in my own doggie bed next to you. I’m an adorable, sweet boy who is ready to learn to trust, play, snuggle and feel secure in my forever home!
