Hi, I'm Cow! I came to the shelter with my 7 brothers and sisters and was lucky enough to go into foster care. My foster mom has lots of good stuff to say about me!
"Cow is an exuberant, intelligent, curious puppy. She walks well on the leash, can relax in her crate, and sleeps through the night. She has never had an accident in the crate or while supervised in the house. She is very intelligent and needs to keep her mind occupied by practicing her obedience skills, learning new things, exploring, or just using busy toys. Come to meet her and see that she is beautiful inside and out!"
Clearly my foster mom thinks I'm amazing! I'm a social puppy who gets along with everyone. An active household would be ideal for me so that I can get my puppy energy out in a positive way. I'd love to do puppy classes and obedience training with my new family so that I can be the best I can be. If you think you are my perfect match, apply to meet me today!

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, no-kill animal rescue that was founded in 1972 in the western suburbs of Chicago. WSHS now finds homes for more than 500 dogs and cats each year!
WSHS is 100% funded by individual, corporate, and private foundations donations, and has over 450 active volunteers! WSHS is caring for about 200 animals at any given time. We adopt to the following counties in IL: DuPage, Cook, Lake, McHenry, Will, Kane & Kendall. If you are a pet owner, check out the Resources tab on our website!
