My name is Shaka (24-021 D)!

Shaka is a beautiful, loving, sweet girl. Even though I tell her she is to big to be a lap dog she insists that she is. When you sit down she will quickly join you on the couch for snuggles & cuddles. She loves to chew on hard toys & play with her ball but is afraid of squeaky toys. 

Unfortunately her life started out rough as her previous owner left her chained outside 24/7 even during inclement weather. Shaka isn’t crazy about the rain, but does enjoy running in the snowy or sunny fenced in yard.

When she came to us she didn’t even know how to climb stairs, but now she runs up them with ease, is potty trained, and sits/shakes on command which is an indicator that she is easily trainable.

Shaka enjoys both human and canine visitors. However, she will do best as the only pet residing in the home. Interactions with kids have been positive; my grandchildren love her.
