My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Avery, an adorable 1-year-old black and white mixed breed pup eagerly searching for her forever home. This charming canine is a delightful combination of playfulness and timidity. Initially shy, Avery may be a bit nervous when meeting new faces, but with a little time and reassurance, she transforms into a loving and affectionate companion. Her unique coat showcases a striking contrast, reflecting the diversity of her lovable personality. If you're ready to provide a patient and caring environment, Avery could be the perfect furry addition to your family.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
