My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JOY will be available for adoption at our Cat Adoption Show every Saturday from 11am to 5pm at PetSmart Walnut/Industry - 21848 Valley Blvd., City of Industry, CA 91789 (corner of Valley & Grand). You can also schedule a specific appointment to meet JOY by emailing us at catsinneed.db@gmail.com.

JOY and her 2 littermates were left in front of a store, inside a taped-up plastic bin, baking in the sun. Thankfully, an employee spotted them right away and brought them inside. All 3 kittens are just as sweet and lovable as they can be. After a couple of weeks in a foster home gaining some much-needed weight, they are now 100% healthy...and ready to be adopted!

JOY is a short-haired Black female kitten who is 3 months old. She has been spayed, tested Negative for FeLV (feline leukemia) and FIV (feline AIDs), is current on her shots, and has been treated for fleas and parasites.

More about this rescue

Cats In Need of Human Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding forever homes for unwanted and abandoned cats in Southern California. A no-kill, all-volunteer organization, Cats In Need has been caring for cats for almost 30 years. With no permanent offices or a physical shelter, Cats In Need has about 15 small, community-based chapters, each operating independently. The Diamond Bar Chapter is the smallest of the chapters, with about 15 volunteers, and placing approximately 180 cats each year.
