My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose is a loving, kind dog. Moose’s dream day would be a morning jog, a chance to steal butter off the kitchen counter, snuggles on the couch, and an evening walk. He has a lot of energy and needs to go to a home that can take him for runs or long walks. He’s great with other dogs (spends a LOT of time at the cabin with a very energetic German shorthair) and cats (lives with one now who he plays with and cuddles). He’s very unsure of kids but has never done anything to harm one. We have a one year old that pulls his hair and moose seems to hate it but has never snapped back.
Moose barks a LOT and needs to have a yard. He’s not meant to be an apartment dog. Moose can be a bit of a menace. He loves human food and will break into the garbage if given the chance. He’ll steal food right off the counter when you aren’t looking. We are rehoming moose because I’m pregnant with our second baby and don’t have the ability to provide moose the energy and love he deserves.
