My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spirit. That's the best description of this handsome 6 year old male. Although he has been through a life of neglect/cruelty and was seized in mid March (along with 98 other dogs), he never lost his spirit or gave up hope that he would be saved some day. Spirit was very, very depressed when we took him in, but now after just a few days, his tail is wagging nonstop. He is sweet, gentle, and will make a wonderful family pet. Nobody has ever cared enough to train Spirit, but he is smart and will learn, if given the attention and patience he so deserves. 3/20/06 UPDATE from "Spirit" himself!: "Hey everybody! Spirit here. Good news...my foster family introduced me to these things they call TOYS! Have they been around long? Wow! How cool! AND I learned that I LOVE TO FETCH! And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these little people called KIDS! Is there anybody out there who wants to take me home? I sure hope so!"
