Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It was so sad when we saw Coco at the shelter in her little bed. She was sad and you could see something happened to her. Coco has a story but somehow she will be fine with lots of love. It will be better if she is the only dog due to her previous life. Coco deserves it!! She is fostered right now with an other little dog and no problem. Coco was given to a family with kids and one of them was not so good with her. She is lucky to be alive actually. Coco's hair thinned up. Her adoption fee is $250.00 adopter is required to have a dental contingent on blood work and health at adopter's veterinarian discretion. No kids!!!! Little note from her foster Mom: Say hello to Coco (Coconut). is a nine year old white Pomeranian, weighing about 4.5 pounds. Coco has suffered some life changing events recently, she was passed onto a family with a young child. Coco was not used to the energy and playfulness of the child, causing a stressful time for her. She has lost some hair as a result of the stress. She has been in our care for the past week. At first she was extremely nervous around people and our dog. She would not eat. Her days were spent mostly sleeping, occasionally waking up to pee. (She is peepee pad trained). After a few days, she finally ate more than a few bites of food. She has been bathed and groomed, some matted hair on her legs has been shaved off and her long nails have been clipped. While still nervous around our dog, she is starting to come out of her shell. She prefers to eat all alone, so we have been feeding her in a bedroom with the door closed to keep our dog from bothering her. Coco is now ready for her forever home. For her peace of mind, she needs to be the only animal in the household. Her new family will need some patience and understanding as Coco becomes more settled, but she will make a perfect pet.
