Meet Dolly:

5-1 update:

Dolly is an adorable Chinese Crested Chihuahua mix.  She is mostly hairless with some hair on her back and short fur on her feet, tail, and head. Dolly is about 9 months old and weighs 10 pounds.  She is up to date on her shots and spayed.

Dolly is looking for the best home.  She is a sweet pup who loves small toys and belly rubs.  Dolly loves to run and play with a pack, but she is also content to entertain herself with toys.  She is learning to come on command and walk on a leash.  She knows how to sit and happily goes to her crate when asked.  She is working on house training. Dolly is not a picky eater, and she loves her treats.  She is working on taking treats gently.  Dolly is her happiest when on the couch playing with her little ball, or running in the yard with other dogs.  She is a little shy with strangers, but quickly adjusts to new situations.

Dolly would do best with adults and older kids, mom is 10 lbs

Dolly is an adorable little Crested Mix.  She is mostly hairless with some hair on her back and short fur on her feet, tail and head. She is about 6 months old, 10 lbs. Dolly is healing from her spay surgery. She is a sweet little girl who is looking for her best home.

Dolly is definitely a follower. She loves to play rough and tumble with her brother, but runs to her human when there are loud noises.  She comes when called and loves treats.  Dolly is working on lead training, house training and basic obedience.  She currently sits when asked and usually comes upon command. Dolly loves toys.  When other dogs rough-house, Dolly is the one who sneaks in and swipes their toys.

More about this rescue

Crest-Care, Inc a 501c3 Corporation
We are a group of individuals living across the United States and Canada, whose goals are to preserve and protect Chinese Cresteds in need. We provide vetting, transportation, and foster homes for each dog in need, until he or she can be carefully matched to an approved home. We provide education about the breed to private individuals interested in adopting, and to shelters as well, in an effort to help ensure the integrity of the breed as a whole. We are involved in Crest-Care, Inc. for no other reason than our concern for Chinese Cresteds in need. We realize our limitations in that we cannot save them all, but working together, we help those we can. We work within the framework of local and civil laws, in order to protect both dogs and all parties concerned.
