A few weeks back we were alerted about a pitiful momma dog and her THIRTEEN babies. How a small 20 lb momma had 13 babies blows our mind but she literally gave all to her babies as she’s skin and bones but the babies were all healthy besides some parasites which is to be expected and have already been treated now.
Momma weighs weighs 20 lbs now that she’s gained some weight and likely will be healthy somewhere around 20-23 lbs. These sweet babies are 12 weeks now and still TINY!!! All weigh around 3.5-4 lbs. Based off their size we would guess dad is a smaller dog but we do not know. Some have a Chihuahua look… some have a doxie look… definitely Terrier mix of some sort. Our guess is the pups likely will be 10-20 lbs but that is a guess. They are utd, dewormed and altered.
Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply!
All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs.
Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up.
