My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well folks, it is time for another round of GUESS THAT BREED. This handsome fella is Tim and Tim is a 6-month-old, 30lb male fluffy butt. There is always fun to be had with this game because you can make up names and call him a "Scrumptious-Ooodle-Nese". However, it might be better to keep that info to yourself otherwise you might get some odd looks from people. For some reason, it is in our job description to guess the breed, we are going to say that Tim is an Aussie/German Shepherd mix. Some other guesses that didn't make the cut were Great Pyrenees and Border Collie. To be safe we may need to throw some Chihuahua in there too because for some reason they seem to be responsible for 96% of the world's dog population.

You are probably looking at Tim and thinking that he is one of the cutest dogs you have ever seen...and you would be right. It is hard to believe that this cutie patootie ended up in the shelter and was never reclaimed. People are crazy though, and whoever let this boy go really missed out on an amazing pup. Tim does great with everyone. He is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He is good with cats and he adores the teenager in his foster home. Tim is all about sharing his home with other animals and people but he does sometimes second-guess himself in new situations. Being abandoned can really change a dog and he worries that he might do something wrong so may hang back a bit at first. All he needs is a little assurance that he is the best boy ever and has all your love and he turns back into the wiggly and happy boy we know him to be! <3

Tim should be the perfect size for a lot of families out there. We don't foresee him exceeding the 60lb range which means you won't have to worry about stepping on him but he also won't be so big that you have nowhere to step! Tim would probably enjoy going on walks with his new family and maybe even on hikes. Given his friendly temperament, we think he would steal the spotlight should you take him out in public with you. All Tim asks is that you be patient with him as things like the leash are still new to him and he needs some more exposure on it. Tim would also do well as a homebody if his new family had another playful dog or ways to keep him entertained at the house.

Tim thinks that being in the house is super cool and he wants to make sure he has the best manners around! With that said, this is all still new to him so his new family needs to be prepared to help him with his training. He wants to have manners so good that your grandma will brag on him. He wants to be so well-socialized that he can be calm in even the most hectic of situations. He wants to have house manners so good you can trust him to watch over the house, even when you are gone. To do that though, he needs to get on a good schedule, be exposed to lots of different things/places, and be taught what is okay to chew on and what is better left alone.

Are you up for the task? Are you the lucky family that is going to welcome Tim the Scrumptious-Ooodle-Nese to your family? If so, be sure to get your app in ASAP at https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3
