My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Zebra while living in Qatar. Zebra is a mix of Saluki and Border Collie. His mother was rescued by our neighbor from the streets of Doha. She was pregnant and had four pups in March 2019. Because the saluki mix is a desired breed, one of his brothers, Milo, was adopted and sent to New York.
Zebra is a faithful friend and great dog. He needs a 30min-1hr walk each day, but otherwise is content to either rest in his bed or sit outside to soak up the sun, true to his desert roots. At this moment, I am the only caretaker of the dog and I need to have more time for re-entering my profession and also focus on being a good mother to my teenage children.
He does have a protein allergy, meaning that he can only eat hydrolized protein food which we get with a prescription from the Vet. But that is very manageable, and makes it easy that we cant give him any leftovers, treats, etc.. The most important thing is that he needs a walk each day.
