Hi, my name is Harvest! I am about 2 years old and so full of life and energy! I love going for walks with my humans- I never get tired of going outside. I love people and I am constantly wagging my tail with excitement around my foster mom, dad, and my foster kids. I love playing with my kids- they just have to keep their stuffies away from me because I love to play with fluffy toys!
I am fully potty trained. I prefer to do my business on one of my many walks I take, but I will also happily let you know when I need to go out just in the fenced yard.
I'm a really good girl in my kennel. My foster dad works from home and I sleep in the kennel by the big window while he's on his important calls.
After I'm done playing with toys and going for walks, all I want to do is snuggle up with you on the couch! Are you my forever home?
Harvest is heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Harvest will also need continued use of monthly heartworm prevention going forward. All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
