Introducing Brandy! This beauty found herself in one of our partner shelters, in TN. She was a stray and needed our help getting out of the shelter.

We were able to line up a flight for her and she joined the gang at the sanctuary. We don't know anything about her past, but can say she's very sweet. She seems to like all the dogs and is very playful. She's truly a beauty, inside and out! We do not know if she's small animal friendly.

If you'd like to be considered for her forever home, apply online. Adoption area will be CT, NY, NJ, DE, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, SC. Exceptions made to neighboring states on a case by case basis.

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. We screen all applicants by calling personal references, landlords, vet references, conducting a phone interview and doing a home inspection. We do allow for a two week trial period after the adoption contract is signed. We back our dogs for life.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our organization saves, rehabilitates, and rehomes Siberian Huskies (and other breeds of dogs) who are abandoned and are in kill shelters. We provide medical and behavioral services and rehome them to compatible families. We do this through volunteer efforts. Most of the dogs in need will come from the Southern States where the shelter kill rate is higher. We have a network of foster homes along the East Coast, while our adoption locations can be found in Maryland and New Jersey.
