Meet Agnus. Agnus and her friends came to Wags and Whiskers when their owner, the only human they really knew and trusted, passed away, and unfortunately, none of her surviving family members were willing to keep her beloved dogs. Agnus is around 13 years old and she is mostly (if not completely) blind, though at her age, she really just wants to snuggle on the couch or in bed all day, so she doesn't seem to mind. Angus is in a loving foster home where they learned that she is potty trained to puppy pads, and does her absolute best to use them each and every time she has to do her business. Agnus took about 2 weeks to really start to adjust to her foster home, and now is becoming playful and likes to do a bit of exploring around the house, following her nose all around. If you have the space in your home and heart for a sweet, blind, senior dog, don't hesitate to apply to meet Agnus today!

Thank you so much for looking into wags and whiskers for your next family member.
All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.
Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment. 530-895-8888
If you are interested in meeting this pet please apply to adopt at http://www.wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com/adopt.html if the pet is still available for adoption and you are approved to adopt we will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment.
