My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sneezy & Happy! Sneezy & Happy are a pair of adorable kittens in need of a very special home. Sneezy is suspected to be deaf, which is not uncommon for white kittens. As he can't hear, he gets easily frightened when he doesn't know if someone or another cat is approaching him. Sneezy has a loud meow, as he can't hear himself and will cry if he can't find his sister or humans. He sleeps soundly and requires gentle strokes to wake up without startling him. You will have to bring him to his food since he won't hear you calling him. Happy is a cheerful little girl. She is very cuddly and loves to be with her humans all the time. She is a purring machine and loves to play with her brother and toys. Happy loves to cuddle and nap on her human's chest or face and enjoys sleeping on the bed at night. Happy is very playful and will play with any toy that is presented to her, but she especially loves balls that she can bat across the room and carry around the house in her mouth. Happy is also Sneezy's best friend and support system. She brings him comfort when he is scared, and they are truly the best of friends. Sneezy & Happy get along with other cats and kids. Happy & Sneezy are a very special pair of kittens that will need a very special family. They are bonded and MUST be adopted together.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
