Squirt is an awesome dog who is currently with our partner in Louisiana. Squirt is hoping to come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters.
Squirt and his friend Boot were surrendered to our partner rescue in Louisiana. He is now in a foster home in Louisiana with other dogs and cats. Squirt is a timid boy at first and takes a little time to get to know new friends. He is a sweet, loving, well behaved companion. We think he is a Kelpie and/or Shepherd mix.
Squirt is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is currently being treated for heartworm and can come to NJ after his treatment. His adoption fee is $550.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
