Hi, my name is Dixie! I am one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet! I am about one and a half years old and was found in Los banos with my sister! I think one of my parents was a Doberman!! I’m petite and full grown at 34 pounds.
Everybody tells me how beautiful I am! I walk well on a leash, not always in a straight line, but I like to go on adventures! I love other dogs, and they help me with my confidence. I would love a home with another dog to play with and snuggle with! Playing and snuggling are my two favorite things to do.
I learn very quickly and go potty only outside! I love being a good girl and I’m learning how to sit for treats.
One thing that’s hard for me right now is car rides. I get lots of anxiety because my first humans used a car to drop me off and leave me.
My foster mom babysits a neighbors dog and she is like a big sister to me! She also has a cat and I am learning about cats too.
I don’t bark very often, but I am a dog, and dogs bark sometimes!! I am very curious and I like to check everything out. I haven’t seen a lot of things in my short life so some things that you might be used to seeing all the time I’m not, so I need humans to be patient and gentle with me.
I look forward to meeting everybody and maybe you someday! I am ready for humans to love me and call me theirs forever ❤️ Dixie will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
