My story

Faith is an owner surrenders due to not being allowed to have dogs where they live. 6yrs old Faith weighs 15 pounds. Crate trained and housebroken. Faith is very shy at first, but is sweet and very affectionate to her person when she settles in. She definitely prefers women, and does not do good with new people. Faith becomes very protective of her person once she becomes friends. She does love cookies, so that helps her make friends. She will need a patient owner to help her settle in and get comfortable. Being fostered in Fredericksburg OH in a home with dogs and a cat Will not be placed in a home with children. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. The first step in Adopting one of our animals is to fill out an application on our website. Once approved to adopt we will set up a meet and greet, so any current household animals, family (kids) can all meet with the new foster animal. Our fees are based upon the age of the animal and the medical involved. Dog fees range from $200.00 - $400.00
We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00

We do require all adopters to sign a contract and sign our medical documentation sheet.

More about this rescue

AJ's Search and Rescue Is an animal rescue which was founding in Sept 2016. The rescue is named after our founders first "Foster Failure". Angela aka AJ, fostered over 140 dogs through a previous organization, which lead her to adopting (foster failing) her 125 foster dog (Serchee).

As time went on AJ decided it was time to start yet another business and this time it was a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue. All animals that come through our organization are in foster homes, which allows a new adopter to know more about the animals in many aspects.

Any and all donations and adoption fees go towards proper medical care and feeding all our animals.

We strive to get animals off the streets and into new homes so they can live a wonderful life.
