My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tonka was my father in laws dog. He was born 8-29-2013. My inlays got him from a breeder at 8 weeks old, and unfortunately a few months later my mother in law was diagnosed with cancer, so he did not receive the training and socializing he should have at that time. My mil passed away in 2018. Since then he lived alone with my father in law. He did require surgery for an issue with his back, possibly a blown disc, but we have been unable to find the paperwork for that. Unfortunately my father in law became ill and Nov and passed away this February. He seems to have a skin allergy possibly from fleas, but we haven't been able to take him to a vet. Tonka MUST have someone experienced with Dobermans, and dogs with fear issues. He has never bitten anyone. We just do not have the time space or funds to take him on and give him what he needs.
