This helps Paws in Middle Georgia Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Manon (Muh-non).
This boy lived in the streets. He was fortunate enough that he found an angel that was willing to provide him food and shelter. Unfortunately, that angel will be moving out of state soon and she was concerned no one else would provide for this boy.
Manon had glaucoma and an ulcer in his left eye. His vision was limited on that side, and he required eye drops for the rest of his life. Due to his condition and the pain he was in, the decision was easily made that Manon would become a "winky" (one eyed cat).
He did fabulous through surgery and has had the sutures removed. Now, he's learning how to operate without that eye but we are confident once the cone comes off - he'll forget there's anything unique about him.
Manon is really sweet. Since arriving at Paws, he has been very chill. He's enjoyed living in a "house" again. Volunteers normally find him curled up on a dog bed or snoozing in a cat cave. He's also been fairly quiet.
Manon lives with a gaggle of gals. 5 of them to be exact. Overall, they get along well. We always do slow introductions (and re-introductions in this case) to ensure harmony.
We'd love this boy to find a furever home. He's gone without the joy of a family for far to long.
Apply today to come meet Manon so you can provide the luxuries of life he deserves.
