What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Goober is a super sweet old boy. He will come when you call him, greets you when you come home, loves to lay on the back of the couch or in your bed and nap all day, is quite vocal when he wants attention, cuddly and loves meeting new people. He is my aunt's cat and just lives with my mom at the moment, as my aunt had to move into memory care (where she can't have a cat) and my mom will also be moving into memory care soon - which is why he needs a new forever home. He has been the only pet in the household, so I'm not sure how he does with other pets. My aunt rescued him when she was living in Florida. Her neighbor was letting Goober sleep in his garage but I believe Goober was mostly a stray living outside which is why he's missing a few toes and has a scar and a notch on his ear. I would encourage setting up a trial meeting to see if he is a good match, especially if you have other pets in the house. Goober will come with a carrier, litter box, and his food.
