Penelope is a beautiful blue pittie crossed with something that gives her an exotic look. She is free to play with a pack of dogs at the Rockin AA Sanctuary and gets along fine with everyone. She had heartworm when rescued but has been treated and is now negative, she is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. please contact alyson for more information on how to adopt penelope at rockin2ndchancesrescue@gmail.com

Additional adoption info

The Rocking AA Sanctuary is located in Mena, Arkansas. The program, 2nd Chances Rescue, has only recently started in which I am trying to find homes for these dogs which were pulled from kill shelters just days before being euthanized and find them amazing homes in the NorthEast. I spent over a decade placing dogs with another shelter and found homes for over 500 dogs and i don't know how many cats. The system works and the animals and families are happy that they found one another.

More about this shelter

No killl shelter dedicated to stopping the euthanasia of municipal dog pounds. We have kept an area pound kill free for 2 years. We don't cherry pick the dogs. We take everyone.
