Scoot was hit by a car and her "owners" never got her the medical care she needed so she is paralyzed from around her middle back to the tip of her tail. This hasn't slowed her down in any way at all! She is a little spitfire that will scoot around the rescue like she owns the place and she's the queen. Her favorite thing to do is dig holes all over the rescue in the middle of the walkways just because she can and she loves when puppies arrive at the rescue and will sit outside their pen "protecting" them from everyone else, she's not mean at all. It's really the cutest thing. Scoot will need a special home that will be able to take care of her needs as a partially disabled dog. She can go to the bathroom on her own, but she has no idea she's doing it so she can't control when it happens, diapers would be a great in home solution. She wears drag bags around the rescue that protect her rear legs and other areas from being injured. She is an extremely social and loving girl that deserves a life where she will be loved unconditionally. If you think you can give her the care she needs, please reach out to the rescue.
