My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimi is an adorable 3 year old bundle of happy wiggles! She doesn't know a stranger and her whole body wiggles when she makes a new friend. She is housebroken and very well behaved in the house. She was originally rescued from animal control very serious wounds to her head and neck consistent with a dog fight. Overall she seems to be very dog friendly with a polite, friendly other dog and proper introductions. She is playful and excited and another dog correcting her harshly can cause her to react negatively (not terribly surprising for a dog with her past) so she would do best with a tolerant, playful other dog and slow introductions to build trust. This special girl has been through so much and deserves a chance. She will bring so much soft, wiggly, happy energy to her new home. She is great with kids of all ages. No cats.

Adoption fee $150. Spayed and current on vaccines. Located in Orlando, FL.

Happy Trails Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue based in Central Florida. Established in 2013, we have successfully placed over 200 dogs. As we continue to grow, we have opened our Community Resource Center in 2019 and provide training, education, grooming events, and a food pantry for those in need in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Thanks to our training scholarships, we have helped over 100 rescue dogs have continued success in their furever home.
