**Meet Maverick, the Triumphant Tripod Husky**

Say hello to Maverick, a spirited and resilient two-year-old husky who has mastered life on three legs. Originally from the heartwarming state of Texas, Maverick has not only overcome great adversity but has also maintained his gentle spirit and zest for life. This beautiful boy weighs 45 pounds and sports a unique style with his charming blue ears, a special touch added by his loving groomer in Texas to complement his striking husky features.

Maverick's journey has been one of courage and recovery. After facing a challenging start, having been hit by a car, this brave soul has shown nothing but strength and determination. Now, as a tripod, he navigates the world with grace and enthusiasm, ready to find his forever home.

Although Maverick can be a bit timid when meeting new people, his warm and loving heart shines through once he gets to know you. He has been fostered with other dogs and has proven to be a fantastic canine companion, showcasing his ability to adapt and bond with others.

Submit Application

Please submit an application on the dog you are interested in meeting. We will then email you to schedule the meet and greet!

2.
Meet the Pet

Our dogs may be in a foster home, the facility, or waiting for their arrival.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you meet the pup of your choice, you can take a week trial with them to see if it is a good fit.

We are always looking for foster to adopt or foster homes! Let us know if your interested in participating in these programs. Foster to adopt is fostering with the intention of adopting the dog if it’s a good fit.

Go meet their pets

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
