My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tala

Looking for a pint-sized bundle of love and intelligence to brighten up your days? Look no further than Tala, the adorable 8-month-old mix puppy who's ready to steal your heart!

At just 45 pounds, Tala may be small in size, but she's overflowing with personality and charm. Fully trained in obedience, she's a little prodigy who's eager to show off her impressive repertoire of tricks and commands.

Tala's medium energy level makes her the ideal companion for both indoor snuggles and outdoor adventures. Whether it's a leisurely stroll in the park or a cozy cuddle session on the couch, Tala is always up for some quality bonding time.

But what truly sets Tala apart is her extraordinary intelligence and lovable nature. With her endearing smile and soulful eyes, she melts hearts wherever she goes. You can't help but smile back when Tala gazes up at you with adoration.

This sweet and affectionate pup is searching for a loving family who will cherish her for the clever, cuddly companion she is. If you're ready to welcome a furry friend into your home who will fill your life with love and laughter, then Tala is the perfect match for you!

Tala can be dog selective and tends to do well with mature and well socialized dogs. Her obedience tasks consists of sit, down, heel, leash trained, come, place, and door manners. She would be best in a family with older children and no cats. Crate trained, house trained, 45lb lab mix.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required. Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
