My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for that special someone who looks at you like there is no one else in the world? Well Briscoe is your pup! Briscoe loves love! He loves to be with his human no matter what you are doing.  Folding laundry, he's your boy, going to the bathroom, he will make sure you have company, going for a walk, he would love to join you. He can be shy at first but loves his humans hard once he is settled.  He is happy to snuggle on a couch or a bed with you and give you puppy kisses.  Briscoe lives with 3 other dogs so he can live in a house with other pups but he can also be an only pup. He does great on a leash.  He is not cat tested.

Briscoe is house trained and while he will go in the crate, its not his favorite place. As such, someone who is home more often would fit his snuggly personality best.  Apartment living may not be for him as he likes to express himself when in the crate and when other dogs pass by the windows.

While he is good with kids, we are suggesting ages 10 and up.

Briscoe is estimated to be about a year old.  He's neutered, up to date on core vaccines and microchipped.

Briscoe loves

- to play with his foster siblings both human and 4 legged

- to snuggle on the couch or bed and watch a good movie

- to give kisses

- to follow his human wherever he/she goes including the bathroom

- toys to squeak and play tug with

- a yard to run around an sunbathe in

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the application. All required fields must be completed in order for your application to be considered. It's important that we place the right dog with the right family. Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment...please ensure you have considered this commitment before submitting an application. Once all reference checks are completed, you will be notified if your application has been approved. Upon approval of your application, a "meet and greet" is scheduled. All of our rescues are fostered in loving, caring homes until we find the right permanent home for them. Our foster volunteers will contact you to make arrangements to meet your potential new family member. A home visit is required before we will place any of our rescues in a forever home. Upon completion of a successful home visit, an adoption contract is completed. Adoption fees typically range from $175 to $375..

More about this rescue

We are a rescue organization fueled by our love of animals and the wonderful volunteers who support us and give freely of their time and dedication to the rescue efforts.

3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. We are a non profit organization comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes, as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal dreams of. We are not a shelter, each of our rescues are cared for in the warmth of their foster homes, as we help them on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own.

We are primarily a canine rescue, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the U.S. Our goal is to save as many lives as we possibly can and to bring an awareness to those around us of the pain and suffering that occcurs in puppy mills and the fate that awaits those thrown away to a shelter. PLEASE...Adopt...don't Shop!
