My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Billie J., short for Billie Jean, is a darling female pit mix looking for her forever family. Billie is currently in a foster home in the Austin area with two other high-energy dogs and a toddler, and she's doing very well! She is 100% healthy, potty & kennel trained, and ready for a family all of her own. Billie has been waiting - patiently - for a family since August 2023 and we can't understand why she is still available. She is too pretty and too sweet to still be looking for a home of her own! Apply to adopt Billie by completing an online application at www.masbullyrescue.org!

Additional adoption info

Our rigorous adoption process ensures we are selecting the right home for each individual dog and his/her unique personality. This includes an application, home check, veterinary reference check, personal reference checks (only in certain situations), landlord checks (for rentals), phone interview with candidate, and meet and greet with our dog. From there we sign paperwork, pay the fee and send the dog home. We follow up frequently during the first few weeks, but are always a resource to our adopters.
