My name is TK!

This wonderful dog with the big smile is TK. He is a handsome young adult Labrador/Pit-mix boy whose coat is solid black, except for some white on his chest
and all four of his paws. TK enjoys his toys, especially the rope ones, and seems
content to play by himself if he has to. He is shy and gentle when he first meets
you, but with a little patience, you will quickly be rewarded with seeing the real
TK shine through. A few treats and a walk in the shelter park bring out his sweet,
heart-melting smile as well as his confidence. He will transform into a playful
loving dog right in front of your eyes, and you will be greeted with the happiest
tippy taps and tail wags. It won’t take you long to understand why the volunteers
at the shelter have a very special place in their hearts for this sweet boy. TK just
needs to find a family who will be patient with him while he adjusts to his new
home and family. If you adopt and love TK,  he will love you back with all of his heart!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
