Max is an orphan. He belonged to my granny, and she passed away last weekend. Nobody in the family has the space or time to devote to giving him the home he deserves. If he doesn't find a home soon, he will have to go to a shelter, but we are really trying to avoid that.
He is about 8 years old, generally friendly and playful. He likes to run outside and has even caught a few gophers. He would do well with older children (old enough to know not to pull tail or ears). He chases cats, so he should not be in a home with cats. He gets along with our female dog, but not his neighbor's male dogs, so matching him with another dog is a maybe (female more preferred).
He would be a good companion dog, as long as there is a way for him to get his energy out, whether that's going on walks or running in a fenced yard.
