My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, loving, playful 2.5yo petite black cat Winnie! I adopted Winnie from the NYC ACC in October 2023. She got along with my resident cat initially, but after two months, we had an incident of misdirected aggression due to a loud noise during play that led Winnie to come at me and two days later fight with my resident cat. She has not shown any aggression towards me before or after the event and is literally the most docile, easygoing cat. However, all reintroduction attempts with my other cat after the fight has failed and she desperately needs a new home. After the incident, I put her on anti-anxiety meds as she was getting upset by loud noises for about a week - they worked immediately. I need to find someone with experience willing to have a solo cat knowing her behavior history. She is so loving, great with her litter box and loves cheek/chin scratches. Im devastated to rehome Winnie but keeping my cats separate in a small space is impossible. Please help
