Meet Loki, your potential new best friend! Loki is an absolute sweetheart, approaching life with an endearing blend of curiosity, caution, and charm. He thrives on affection and seeks reassurance from his human companions, making him a loyal and devoted friend. With each step, Loki takes on the world with a gentle confidence, embracing every moment with enthusiasm. Shelter life was stressful for him, and after a couple days out of the shelter he is beginning to shake off that stressful environment and beginning to regain his confidence!

Loki is a curious and cautious explorer at heart, sniffing out new sights and smells during leisurely walks around the neighborhood. After living in a home for most of his life, he is no stranger to a comfy couch and long naps with you close by. After his stay in the shelter, he is a little unsure of the crate, but he is learning that it's a positive experience with treats, bones, and other fun snacks! Outside, he does very well on the leash with a casual pace and stops for sniffs. Loki is potty trained. After a few environment changes, Loki is beginning to regain his confidence, especially with loud traffic and crowds, and he'll need some positive encouragement along the way.

He's quick to respond to his name, showing his attentiveness and eagerness to engage, especially when there are treats involved! Loki is food motivated which makes training easier. He understands the word no, and he is eager to check in when he is unsure.

Having lived with children up to the age of 10 years old and enjoying the company of other dogs, Loki is no stranger to companionship. He's incredibly gentle and calm, making him an ideal furry sibling for both human and canine family members alike. Plus, his occasional moments of goofball-ishness are sure to keep you entertained and smiling!

It's important to note that Loki has a chicken allergy, but he's excited to indulge in kibble and snacks made from other ingredients. With his adaptable nature and loving disposition, Loki is more than ready to become the cherished addition to your family that you've been searching for.

If you're thinking about welcoming Loki into your life and embark on countless adventures together, come by and meet him. Let's make memories and create a bond that will last a lifetime with this special furry friend by your side!
