Waffles got his name because he is SO sweet!! He was born in 2020 andweighs about 70 lbs. He is a 100% pure beefcake of love. He's so handsome and he knows it and once look at those, maple colored and soulful eyes, he will melt your heart. Waffles is very friendly and a total wiggle butt. He's energetic and loves to play. He would love having a home with a yard that he can run zoomies in and another playful and well-balanced buddy would be a huge plus too. This boy loves to learn and really strives to be told he's a good boy. Plus he's very food and toy motivated which makes training him easier! He is strong on leash and will need a strong and sturdy handler that will continue to teach him leash manners and structure. At the end of the day, he loves to cuddle and snuggle with you and is going to make a big dog loving family so lucky. Be ready for an XL Lap dog! His favorite hobby is riding in car and he also loves the water.

More about this rescue
Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit organization; obtained our 501(c)3 in 2011 - ID #27-0810495
Located in Anza, CA
Kathy Haley had originally started as a rescue for abused and neglected large animals such as donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs, and more. At the time, she was also a volunteer at a dog rescue. After learning about the importance of rescue work, Kathy saw an opportunity to help by employing her own ideas about animal welfare, rescue and care taking the "whole animal," mind, body and spirit into consideration. A few years later, she met Lisa Ashe. Kathy and Lisa had so many ideas, dreams, and goals in common. They instantly clicked and that was when Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization, was born in 2011 and have been going strong since.
At Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, we are dedicated to taking in abused, neglected, and euthanasia listed animals that deserve a second chance and need us the most.
All of our animals are:
Spayed/Neutered
Current on all vaccines
Rabies Vaccinated
Dewormed
Micro-chipped (lifetime registered & paid)
Received all proper medical care when needed (surgeries, dentals, medications, grooming, etc)
While many of our animals are sanctuary or "permanent residents", we do have lots of adoptable pets who are patiently waiting for their forever homes.
We are unique in the fact that our dogs do not live in kennels; instead they live with us in our home on about 5 acres of property located in Anza, CA or they are in foster homes in and around the Temecula, CA area. They have full access to our home and property and sleep inside with us at night.
This ensures that our pets are well adjusted and perfectly suited to become a part of your family.
Because the sanctuary is also our home, we do not have regular public visiting hours but we do have many visitors.
We just have to arrange it to fit the schedule of our animals, ourselves, and you.
