My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kermit (the Dog) is a 4 year old male standard poodle who weighs around 75lbs. He came to us as an owner surrender from a former breeding situation. He is heart worm negative. This boy is very handsome and gets along great with other dogs. In the past, he has lived with other dogs, cats and children, so he should do well in a home with any of the above. In his foster home, Kermit is perfecting house and crate training in the "cell dog" prison training program.
To meet Kermit please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html
Kermit's adoption fee is $300, which includes his deworming, neuter, vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies), and microchip with lifetime registration.
*Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a dog. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you!
***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.
Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So, be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates:
